What is the Root2Success Final Competition?
The Root2Success Final Competition is the first-ever in-person event hosted by Root2Success. Similar to the other competitions we have held virtually, this event will allow students to test their knowledge and demonstrate what they have learned this year. We hope students will engage more with their teammates by participating in person. After the competition, the Root2Success staff will present a series of awards recognizing success in the competition, success throughout the year, and more.
Who can register for the Root2Success Final Competition?
Any registered student in Root2Success for the 2022-23 school year is welcome to sign-up for our event.
When is the Root2Success Final Competition?
The competition will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Students will be expected to arrive at 10 AM with no student allowed entry past 10:30 AM. Students will be dismissed around 2 PM.
Where is the Root2Success Final Competition being held?
The competition will be held at Masterman School (1699 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19130).
Why is Root2Success hosting an in-person event?
Our primary goal is to not only spark inspiration and a love of mathematics within our students but to encourage them to seek these traits within each other. As such, the Root2Success competitions are designed so that teamwork is absolutely necessary to succeed. We hope that by hosting in-person, more collaboration will occur in real-time and that perhaps even friendships can be made over the shared enjoyment of math
